What do the bylaws of the LLC say about who can sign for what?
An LLC is a corporate entity and has officers, who should be appointed
with definition of their responsibilities. The owners of an LLC are
not "members" - partners, though in some LLCs this may be their
feeling.

Without insight into the bylaws, your question cannot be answered. If
bylaws have not be established, the law of the state in which the LLC
is registered may be of some help.

Does the LLC have bylaws? Where is it registered?

This is a free comment, not an "answer" to your question.
