We are going to organize dancing performance in a town hall theatre. I would like to get more information about how to organize the event and set the budget. We have already booked the town hall. The performance will be live dance and music performance for one and half hour. My responsibility will be the general coordination and promotion. The followings are the quick check list of my role: Stage Performance: - Secure the travel and accommodation of the performers - Hire a stage manager to arrange the sound and theatre effect - Logistic for the shipment of the dance clothes and stage settings Exhibition of sample dance clothes and cultural items outside the hall - Set up booth for the exhibition - Assign volunteers to stand by the booth Promotion of the Event - Design poster of the event - Print the poster to display in the location - Arrange local newspaper and radio to report the event - Prepare gift for the honor guest - Food and refreshment for the volunteers What I need is a more comprehensive checklist and a better way to organize my work. And I need some suggestion/information to do the estimation of the budget. |
