Wow ... What a question! I seriously doubt if any poltician in the world has any interest in or any understanding of such a hypothetical mish-mash that has become known as 'Economics'. Economics is part of the fabric of politics and it has been designed solely to justify whatever bandwagon a party is pushing at the time to give it some marketing pizzazz. When I 'studied' Economics I soon learned that although the Examiners set the same Questions every year, they always change the Answers. |

Interesting Probo, you also studied Economics Personally I find it quite interesting (not the mathematical codswallop that was coming in during my day) but for spotting what utter rubbish a lot of people spout. It used to amuse me that people followed that old fraud Friedman, directly controlling the 'money supply' is a bit like trying to control the speed of a car by breaking the glass on the speedometer and pushing the needle. I'm one of those that have decided that Economics is just crowd psychology. |
