Hi, I have the big loader construction set - a toy from the 1970's
that picked up balls and moved them around. Here a link to some
pictures. http://museums.leics.gov.uk/collections-on-line/GetObjectAction.do?objectKey=265335

I was trying to get my old copy working and unscrewed the motorised
engine part. The problem however was the plastic gears inside it fall
out and now I can't work out how to put them back together. It should
allow it to move forward and reverse but just getting the wheels to
move would be a great start.

What I'm after is some good pictures of what it should look like from
someone who has it. I've seen a Thomas the Tank Engine version of it
and would guess the gears are exactly the same. The area that I need
pictures of is inside the motorised cart-thing, with the cover removed
and upside down. I know where the motor goes so the gears (the one I
have are white) to the driving wheels are the area of concern. Any
help would be great. Thanks.
