I've been eyeing some leather furniture and found a leather
alternative called durahide which looks great. How does this
alternative measure up against the real thing?

To be more specific when I say measure up I want a breakdown in means
of durability, cleaning ramifications, quality, etc. Simply put if I
had two couches with the exact same design with the difference of one
being leather and the other being durahide what differences between
the two would come into play over the course of use.
