Hi! Thanks for the question.

You must first contact customer care of Nextel to activate the
international dialing capabilities of your phone. Then you will need
to just add the country code in calling Australia. The following tip
from shows the steps.

"How to Call Australia From the United States"

Nextel also has the information on country and international mobile
dialing codes on its website. Just scroll a little bit for Australia.

"Country Codes and International Mobile Dialing Codes"

Search terms used:
how to call australia from the US
Plus: Searched on the Nextel website

I hope this would help you in your research. Before rating this
answer, please ask for a clarification if you have a question or if
you would need further information.

The researcher may have inadvertently missed the most important tip.
The number you listed for Australia is a mobile/cell phone. As such,
you must drop the first zero of the number. The number you should call
from your mobile is +61 432841955
or 0061 432841955

once you have international dialling enabled.

Yes I forgot that part. I apologize, I used these when I called the
Philippines when I visited the US.
