Hello rocketreader_ceo,
Thank you for your question. This is a tall order!
One of the only ways to rate traffic to certain websites is through
the Alexa Rankings. (alexa.com) The Alexa Rankings can tell you if a
site is popular, but it is not definitive and its rankings are skewed
to certain demographics. The Alexa Rankings go only by people who use
the Alexa Toolbar, a very small percentage of web users, and it only
works on Internet Explorer. By not even using one of the most popular
browsers (Firefox) and by requiring a software download, it is easy to
see why the Alexa rankings cannot be trusted for the absolute truth of
which sites have the most users. As an example of how the Alexa
rankings don't tell the entire story-- Slashdot, one of the most
popular technology websites on the Net, ranks low in Alexa. This is
because most Slashdot users use Firefox and most would not download a
toolbar from Alexa. However, Alexa is the best we currently have and
so I have looked at reading sites with high Alexa rankings for you for
this question-- but, there aren't that many ranked by Alexa.
Here are the most popular websites in Alexa's Reading category:
http://www.alexa.com/browse/general/?&CategoryID=468912&mode=general&R=False&Start=1&ListingCount=True&SortBy=Popularity
As you can see, most of those are sites for kids with book reviews and
the like, but not news outlets for the publishing of articles about
reading. Clearly they will not work for what you're after.
So, I have looked at the Top 500 on Alexa and found the sites from
that range which may be able to accomplish what you ask. Here are the
top 500 sites:

About.com.
About is the highest-ranked site that might meet your criteria.
About's content pages are led by About Guides who are experts in the
field. Each guide can add content that is not original to themselves
if they think it will draw page views. Contact the Reading Guide and
submit your article to him or her.
