There are many references on the Internet for a roast turkey recipe
purportedly originated by the author Morton Thompson. It is said to be
indescribably delicious.
Now, the recipe is so complex and difficult that it set me to
wondering if it is for real or a joke recipe. Has anyone tried it?

K22,

Thanks for accepting my findings as your official answer! I've

Personally, the incredibly elaborate Morton Thompson turkey recipe
never sounded worth trying. Besides, my husband would pitch a fit if I
served him a turkey that looked as if Rambo had assaulted it with a
flamethrower.

This was the Google search string that led me to the links:

K22,

Never fear: GA's email notification system hasn't been functioning
properly, but the payment system is still working. My account has been
credited with my share of the fee.
