Hi, I'm looking for a heavy duty black and white printer with a speed
of at least 40 ppm (the faster the better) and a used price of under
$900 (the lower the better!)

dpi is not important, anything over 300 dpi should be fine.

The printer does not have to be available right now somewhere although
if it is, it's better; what I'm looking for is a list of brands/models
that would fit the above description, that I could further look for in
eBay or elsewhere.

(I'm in Paris France).

Thanks.

I've bought four slightly used HP 6L printers for about $35 each. Why
don't you get six of them and let 'em rip?

Monsieur ou Madame

Is it a good idea to buy a used printer when for not much more you can
get a new one with a Warranty?

You could soon saddle yourself with repair bills that would take the
icing off the cake.

Unless, like Mark, you buy real cheapos when it doesn't matter.

A bientot!

The printer can be new as well, I don't care, but I figured for the
price and the performance I would only find used ones (on Dell's site,
printers > 40 ppm start at $1300).
Thanks.
