Hi there, I have recently been ripped off by a company in Indonesia
called axn-international.com they have got £680 of my money and I have
no goods.  I cannot find out anything about them, can you help?
Also the website www.deltagameshop.com is in Indoenesia and has a very
similar site to axn can you check them out too?

These site do not seem legit. If you check out their ownership data
(who registered them, when), you'd find several interesting facts:
- these sites prefer to register with companies that are keen to
preserve the privacy of the owners. You are virtually unable to know
who really stands behind the sites;
- these sites have recently registered (in April 2006 and in September
2006), and the ownership would expire within a year. This is typical
of dodgy sites: a serious legitimate business would have had liked to
maintain that address as much as possible, and not to expire it within
a year.

If you go to the sites themselves, you'd see that payment is only
possible through wire transfer. This is also suspicious. Wire transfer
is something that exists in order to transfer money between parties
that know each other or trust each other.

Which brings me to your £680. Your chances of seeing this money back,
or your goods, are slim to none. You can, of course, file a complaint
with the computer crimes division of your local police station. See,
