It's wonderful to see you back, Martin!

According to numerous online sources, this is the dialogue:

Bond: "Vodka martini."
Waiter: "Shaken or stirred?"
Bond: "Do I look like I give a damn?"

Mania Forums: Casino Royale: Member's Review
http://www.mania.com/forums/showthread.php?p=47621

"Bond: ?A vodka martini, please.? Casino barman: ?Shaken or stirred??
Bond: ?Do I look like I give a damn?? It?s a sharp and knowing line ?
probably penned by Paul Haggis, the talented, final scriptwriter of
this highly enjoyable ?back-to-basics re-boot? of the 007 franchise ?
that not only simultaneously acknowledges and confounds audience
expectations, but also neatly confirms that Daniel Craig?s intriguing
and charismatic tyro agent is cut from quite different cloth to his
Savile Row-tailored predecessors."

"And several reviewers took note of an iconoclastic joke. Asked if he
wants his vodka martini shaken or stirred, Craig as Bond replies, 'Do
I look like I give a damn'?"

"There's a new James Bond in town, and boy, is he ever cranky. Near
the climax of the Bond adventure Casino Royale, he's in a casino
asking a bartender for a vodka martini. 'Shaken or stirred?' the
bartender asks. 'Do I look like I give a damn?' replies Bond."

My search strategy in locating this was simplified by the fact that,
although I have not yet seen "Casino Royale," I had heard about this
bit of dialogue, and since I remembered the line "Do I look like I
give a damn?", I used this Google search string:

Google Web Search: "casino royale" "vodka martini" "give a damn"

I hope this is helpful! Please let me know if anything is in need of clarification.

Best regards,

There is some disagreement among sources about the exact wording of
Bond's line. In this interview, director Martin Campbell says "Does it
look like I give a damn?"

Martin Campbell: No, I think all the obvious things are there, like he
wins the Aston Martin. He gives the ingredients to the martini,
"Shaken or stirred? Does it look like I give a damn?" Just throwing it
right back.

Thanks for your answer - great stuff. Any chance you could try out my
other question regarding the linedancer?

All the best,
Martin

Mnay thanks for the five stars and the generous tip! Regarding your
question about the linedancer, I spent a couple of hours on it
yesterday evening, and couldn't find a clue. I have emailed an
acquaintance who used to be a linedancing instructor; if I get any
useful info, I'll certainly let you know.
