Howdy saturation-ga,

I am going to post this a request for clarification to make sure it meets your
requirements. If it does, please tell me, and I will post this as the answer
to your question.

Your best bet might be the Grandtec GWB-4000 "Ultimate Wireless" system.

It sounds like your hyperlinked product will work. I basically have
a flat screen HDTV and I want to be able to sit--with my laptop on my
lap--and view the computer on my TV wirelessly--as if it were the
actual monitor.

Much thanks for accepting this as your answer, saturation-ga.

The only product I could find that was readily available and that could handle
the task that you describe, is the Grandtec GWB-4000 Ultimate Wireless system.

Even though it is available at other places, I have dealt with Provantage in
the past, and have had good results with them. Here is their product page for
the Ultimate Wireless system.

No their is no way to get a perfect connection from pc to tv
wirelessly you would HAVE to use wires.
