In 1998, Henry Rollins did a spoken word engagement gig in/near Venice
Beach. It was a special event for charity, and may or may not have
been part of his spoken word tour for 1998. I'd like to know the date
& location of this engagement.

Henry Rollins of Black Flag and the Rollins Band lived in Venice in
the later 80s and early 90s, one or two doors off Lincoln where the
pet shop is, until his room mate, Joe Cole, was shot dead in their
driveway upon returning from the market one eve. (information from
