I have been asked to write onethousand and fifty into the fraction notation and in decimal notation and don't know how

The number one thousand and fifty (1,050) is not ordinarily written in either decimal or fraction format, but it certainly can be: Decimal  1050.0 Fraction  (1050 / 1) If, in fact, the question is about writing onethousandth of 50, then the notations would be: Decimal  .05 Fraction  (50 / 1000) which can be simplified to (1 / 20) Cheers, pafalafaga

Do you mean onethousandTH OF fifty? Which would make more sense.
