Hi nifty13, As you indicated in your comment, it's difficult (perhaps impossible) to find a completely comprehensive list of travel guide book companies. However, I believe that you will be pleased with this set of lists, which include at least a couple of hundred travel guide book companies: "Travel Publishers" Yahoo! Directory http://dir.yahoo.com/Business_and_Economy/Shopping_and_Services/Publishers/Travel/ "Map & Travel Publishers" AcqWeb http://acqweb.library.vanderbilt.edu/pubr/map.html "Participants in Travel Publishers Association's Events" Travel Publishers Association http://www.travelpubs.com/publishers.html "Directory of Non-Fiction Publishers : Travel - Guides" WriteWords http://www.writewords.org.uk/directory/level3_pages.asp?directory_sub_type2_id=530&directory_sub_type_id=530 "Travel Publishers" BookWire http://www.bookwire.com/bookwire/publishers/Travel-Publishers.html "Comparatif des Guides de voyage" (14 mars 2005) Around the Worlds http://www.aroundtheworlds.com/francais/guides_de_voyage_classement.htm "Welke reisgids gebruiken ?" Vakantiegenoegens http://www.vakantiegenoegens.be/infoplein/Reisgidsen.htm You might also be interested in this list of travel book and map publishers: "Reisgidsen & Cartografie" [towards bottom of page] Amerigo.nl http://www.uitgeverij-nas.nl/uitgevers.html See also: "Le Guide" Gulliver http://www.gullivertravelbooks.it/vetrina.asp?key1=guide Please let me know if you need any clarification of this answer. - justaskscott Search strategy -- Searched on Google and Yahoo! for various combinations of these terms (sometimes as phrases, and sometimes in plural form): [individual publisher names] travel guide guidebook directory book bookstore store publishers publishing |

Questions asking for "all" of anything often remain unanswered, since it is usually difficult or impossible to satisfy such a request. You may be more likely to get a response if you ask for a list of a specified size. Increasing your price may also enhance your chances of getting an answer. Quite frankly, at your current price, a Researcher might be expected to search for fifteen minutes or so, which isn't likely to produce much. |

Yeah - I though about both of those things right after I posted the question. In fact, I'm not even sure how to ask it, but will try to reformat it and up the price later today. Thanks for the advice. |
