On the afternoon/evening of Tuesday 28/11/06 and during the day 29/11/06, I observered many sailors walking the streets of Sydney city. The sailors were of an asian appearance (possibly Chinese). I am interested in which navy boat (and country) is currently in Sydney and where it is docked. |

Perhaps they are sailors of the Royal Australian Navy who are of the same ethnic origin, or maybe Japanese, since at the date you posted this question, a Japanese WW2 mini-sub wreck somewhere off Sydney had been found two days earlier. News can be seen here: Royal Australian Navy - heritage - weapons - equipment - ships http://australiandefencereport.com.au/royal-australian-navy.htm And not even this site of the RAN mentions a visiting ship. |
