I'm looking for Java program code that accurately computes the Flesch-Kincaid, Dale-Challe, or Spache readability of a text passage. There are several web sites where you can paste a text passage into the web browser and it will compute the readability for you. These do not fit my needs, I need actual program code that does the calculations. |

You can find code for numerous readability measures, including Flesck-Kincaid readability scores, at this site: http://www.rfp-templates.com/What-are-Readability-Statistics.html What readability statistics exactly are? Use the code in the blue box about 2/3 of the way down the page. Let me know if there's anything more you need on this. David |
