Palme's assassination in 1986 remains unsolved to this day, despite the fact that Swedish police arrested Christer Pettersson for the crime, and Pettersson was later tired and convicted. The conviction, however, was overturned by a higher court. This Wikipedia article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olof_Palme_assassination Olof Palme assassination provides an excellent overview of the main whodunit theories surrounding the murder -- including some intriguing conspiracy theories -- though from what I can see, there is not one prevailing theory that can be labelled "common opinion". I trust that's what you were looking for, but if there's anything more I can do for you regarding the assassination of Olaf Palme, just let me know. David |

Lee Harvey Oswald, alone and unaided. Contrary to popular opinion, it was Oswald's double who was gunned down by Jack Ruby's double. So, LHO struck again! |
