Hello,
I am seeking small medical device companies in the USA who may/are
interested in marketing/licencing their products in Europe so as i can
make contact with them. In particular, I am interested in those
companies that make specialist syringes and infusion sets. Can someone
help me out?

eamonnmulvee-ga,

You can find all the information you're after at the Medical Devices
manufacturers databases maintained by the FDA.

To get started, head here:

http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfRL/LSTSimpleSearch.cfm
Device Listing Database

In the "Search for" box, enter your term of interest.

Set the "Records per Report Page" to 500, using the pull-down menu,
and then click on "Search".

For instance, a search on the phrase [ infusion set ] yields 88 results.

By clicking on an individual result, you'll get further information such as:

thinset infusion sets manufactured by applied diabetes research, inc.

Clicking on the above listing takes you here:

http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfRL/LSTSimpleSearch.cfm?db=Listing&id=83893

and clicking again takes you to the full manufacturer's record, with
contact information galore:

Of course, you can carry out a similar search for [ syringe ] or for
any other medical device terms that are of interest to you.

Best of luck with this...let me know if there's anything more I can do for you.

Thank you Pafalafa!. I note google answers has been retired, but I
have another question. Can you take it? I will pay $25 dollars. The
question refers to this patent
http://v3.espacenet.com/textdoc?DB=EPODOC&IDX=CA2226949&F=0
The Publication Number is CA2226949. What does the "CA" indicate - the
country in which it was first published i.e. Canada?
What does Publication date mean - the date that the publication
CA2226949 was first made available to the public for inspection in
Canada?
What is the Application Number? How does it differ from the publication number?
There appears to be two Priority Numbers: US19950516581 19950817 and
CA19982226949 19980216. What are priority numbers? I know they have
something to do with a date from which you have one year to file a
patent in other countries. Why are there two? And from looking at the
numbers, what are the dates?
What is an INPADOC patent family?
Also published as: WO9706856, EP0850089 (A1), EP0850089 (A4), EP0850089 (A0).
What do these numbers refer to? What do "WO" and "EP" and "A0" "A1" "A4" signify?
From looking at this image, is it possible to tell which countries a
patent for this innovation has been filed, and if so, how and which
countries?
Is it possible to tell if the patent has been granted in these
countries, or is still under review?
