I have a Dell Axim X51v PDA and I purchased an OnCourse Bluetooth GPS
unit. I cannot get the PDA to communicate with the GPS unit. I've
followed every troubleshooting instruction and downloaded "fixes", but
it still won't work. Has anyone been able to get a Dell Axim X51v PDA
to work with an OnCourse Bluetooth GPS unit and how?

jpwood-ga:

I'm sorry that I did not come across your question earlier, as I hope
that you have managed to resolve your problem by now (or returned the
OCN GPS unit).

There is a discussion thread on *the* forum for Dell Axim enthusiasts,
aximsite.com, where members have discussed this topic. If you are
still struggling with finding a solution, I recommend that you join
aximsite.com's forums, and ask for help from some of the other
x51v/OCN GPS users out there... they do exist, and they seem to be
having no problems.

If you are still seeking an answer, please tell us a bit more about
the troubleshooting techniques you have tried.

For example, are you successfully using your x51v with any other
Bluetooth accessories, such as a headset or cell phone?

Have you been able to verify that the OCN GPS unit itself is
functioning properly, by pairing it with another Bluetooth-enabled PDA
or PC?

Regards,

aht-ga
