When I was in grade school, my main recess activity was to collect
friends and we would act out my favorite TV show. I can't remember
the name of the TV show and all of my online searching has failed to
produce any usable results. I would love to find the name of the show
and, dare I hope, purchase any taped shows. The show was about 2
medics who were alerted to people in trouble by a wild black horse.
Example, the medics would be working, see the black horse, and know
that someone was in trouble and follow the horse to help the person in
need. Don't laugh. I have received many strange looks/comments on
this quest, but I know I'm not crazy in thinking this TV show existed
because in high school I ran into an old grade school classmate and he
& I reminisced about 1)watching the show and 2)acting it out. I would

I wonder if you may be remembering the TV series "Fury," in which a
black stallion named Fury often led Peter Graves and Bobby Diamond to
people who needed help. When it was rerun in syndication, this show
was called "Brave Stallion."

I apologize for the delay - I wasn't notified that there was anything
additional posted. This show that I remember was full color and the
two individuals that were called to help by this horse were medics.

I also notice that one of the episodes was entitled "Thunder and the
Junior Paramedics" (plot: "Cindy and Willie take a course in life
saving procedures and must put their training into action).
Is it possible that the paramedics (who presumably trained "Cindy" and
"Willie") were relatively minor characters, but, in the haze of 30
years, you're remembering them as the stars?

Also, keep in mind that the show that NBC aired immediately after
"Thunder" was "Search and Rescue: The Alpha Team." Perhaps your memory
is a composite of the two shows.
