Project Title:Upgrading an E-mail System (2000 words)

You are working in the IT department of Martin Consultants in network
support.  Management want to improve communication between all
employees and has decided to make use of e-mail as a substitute for
fax and telephone calls
between the branches. As a pilot you are to install e-mail on the head
office network.

1. You will need to consider the impact of e-mail on the existing
network. You should evaluate at least three e-mail system ,
    make a recommendation and create a strategy document outlining how
it will be implemented without disruption to     normal operations.

2.There is concern that users may not make use of e-mail correctly and
still use the old methods of communicating.
You have been asked to make recommendations to ensure that the new
technology is used effectively.

You will need to:
. Apply current knowledge to evaluate and explore new technologies
. Employ the new technology with minimum disruption to users
.Ensure that the new technology meets user requirements and solves
organisational requirements
.Make use of the new technology to improve productivity and
efficiency.
