I'm looking for a plain, unstructured, stone-colored baseball cap with
NO logo/lettering/etc. on it, preferably from an on-line site (must
also be a site where I don't need to buy hats in bulk). My searches
on lids.com and friends have turned up khaki hats or stone-colored
hats with a contrasting bill or stone hats with a team logo - but no
plain stone hat. For an example of what I'm looking for (but without
the J. Crew logo! :), look here:

Thank you!

As an additional clarification, The Gap sold the exact hat that I'm
looking for about 2-3 years ago. Now, however, all they seem to sell
are baseball caps with the Gap logo on them.

Hi emerick:

You are certainly right that it seems difficult to find a plain
stone-colored hat without any logos that sell in small quantities. I
have been able to find the following place for you, however:

EmbroideredClothes.com
**********************

URL: http://www.embroideredclothes.com/classic.html

Price: $16.50 + shipping

Decription: "Through a gentle garmet wash process this hat features a
soft design with strong true colors. A six-panel cap with a low
profile design. The Classic is constructed with two antiqued gunmetal
eyelets on both sides of the hat and a gunmetal slide buckle and
tuck-in grommet. It also has a matching self-fabric back closure."

[You can simply order the hat without any embroidery. Make sure that,
if you order 1 cap, that the quantity on the check out page is still 1
- it changed to 2 for me, but I was able to change it back and hit
enter to update the page.]

I hope this is of help to you.

P.S. If the gunmetal eyelets are a problem, please let me know and
I'll look some more for you. :-)

The gunmetal eyelets are fine. Thanks for the quick answer!
