rafet,

I am going to go ahead and post my comment as an answer. Before rating
my answer on this question, if you require additional information or
assistance, please post a request for Answer Clarification, and I will
do my best to meet your needs.

It appears that Mexicana Airlines is the only one who flies from
Mexico City to Cuba (although Air Canada flies elsewhere in Cuba).

You can fly round-trip on Mexicana from MEX to HAV on those dates for
MXN 7,575.00 (USD$760.00), if you buy your ticket right now.

However, you can fly from Cancun to Havana on Mexicana for MXN 2,910
(USD$292.00)!

1 major Mexican bus company runs from Mexico City to Cancun:
UNO / Ticketbus tels:(52 5) 133 24 24 01 800 702-8000
You can get a ticket for this trip for MXN 1,002.00 (USD$100.00)

Now the bad news: the trip is 23 hours each way.

It looks like the lowest cost/shortest time is an either/or
proposition. Even though this is a cheaper option for you, it will
take 2 whole days out of your trip. If you have a limited number of
days you can be away from work, the bus to Cancun probably isn't going
to work for you.

rafet,

To help me better assist you, what is your country of residence? (I
get the impression from your question that it is not Mexico.) This can
make a difference in from which websites you would be able to purchase
tickets.

Thanks,

FYI, trains used to be a great way to travel in Mexico, but they exist
no longer except on two tourist routes (the Copper Canyon and
Guadalajara-Tequila). The first-class long-distance buses in Mexico
are quite comfortable (some even have airline-style videos and meals),
but they are slow. Knowledge of Spanish helps considerably if you're
riding the buses.
