internet. I would think that "personals" are one of them but I want to

Are you wanting ways to make money by running a website or ways to
make money by surfing/using the internet?

Taking in ease of carrying the task out and the money earned in
consideration, the following are the top 10 ways to earn money on the
internet.  I have personally done all of them plus many others.

1. Providing access to adult pornographic pictures/movies
2. Online auction for various items
3. Web designing (making professional webpages)
4. Retailing/reselling electronic products (computers, plasma display,
etc)
5. Online casino sites/gambling sites
6. Day trading stocks
7. Providing advice/services (stock advice, law advice, etc)
8. Selected affiliate programs (marketing tips, eBay, commission
junction, etc)
9. Selling banner spaces/advertisement opportunities 
10. Making home businesses and selling them

Personals site/related dating services are within the top 15 but not
top 10.  This is because the balance between the number of people who
feel comfortable with using Internet as a medium to meet others and
the ratio of them who are actually willing to pay money for such
services calculates a potential income that isn't as high as the top
ten mentioned.  Of course, an exceptional persoanls site will
outperform any or all of mediocre top 10 sites.  You are correct in
saying that personals site has the potential to generate alot of
income; the only reason that it hasn't made top 10 is because there
are more successful sites within those categories than personal sites,
nothing more.
