Note: This is the 7th duplicate (8th version) of my question (re. new product/floss holder), and it is reposted because I have new simpler questions without answers and after the changes made in the web-page in discussion, -- http://www.geocities.com/emailerss/ -- I would like to get an answer from any researcher who is frequently flossing using floss, two hands and no other help. The web-page is showing instructions (mostly pictures) how to use a patented dental floss holder (tensioner)and explanations . This floss holder is good for about 250 all-teeth flossing sessions, then it can break. I am asking answers to the following 2 questions: 1.Is it clear from this web-page how to use this product, and how many minutes have you (the researcher) spent on it? 2. The Researcher is asked to give a comment of at least one word to the following clarifications ,and to answer with at least one word the question of whether this product could be of any use for The Researcher. The floss is mounted before flossing using 2 hands. The 6-8 in. floss takes 15 60 seconds to maunt and the 14-18 in. floss takes 9-25 seconds The loop made from the 6-8 in. floss can held in one hand and one can bite the floss between the prongs and pull/glide (advance) the loop around. | |

Hi Googel, The four word answer to your question from my point of view is as follows: 1. Yes 12 minutes 2. Unnecessary Useful A longer explanation of my answer is as below: I have never used a product like this before but am familiar with flossing of teeth. Although initially confusing, partially due to the lack of human presence in the diagrams, I found that after 5-10 minutes of viewing the page the instructions became clear. With respect to the clarifications, I feel that whilst maybe pointing out the use of two hands could be useful, the addition of precise timings for attachment of the floss is probably unnecessary. The second clarification describing the use of the product, when combined with the diagrams on the web site, makes understanding the correct usage simpler and would therefore be a useful extra to the instructions. I hope this has been useful to you and your product marketing is successful. mcfly-ga |

Are you trying to patent this or deploy it commercially? Are you aware that you can go to Walgreens and buy similar flossing devices in disposable packs of several hundred? |

Sorry, vince23-ga, but your reading hasn't been attentive enough. The disposable flossers have a ahort built-un floss segment of about 1 in.ling, while this floss holder can carry any kind of floss having at least a length of more than 6 in. long, has no built-in floss and it's for multiple use. Thanks for caring. |

googel... Re your above comment to mcfly... mcfly may or may not see this, since comments do not trigger an email to the answerer, as do requests for clarification. If mcfly sees the comment, it will only be because they have bookmarked this question, and are following it out of personal interest. That is the singular advantage to clarification requests. |
