What do you mean by "branded".  Can you give an example of companies
that are branded and not branded?

Claudietta,
I mean the companies (like Jones NY in the fwlg example)that
distribute directly to retailers, and not those that do private label
or contract manufacturing for those that distribute. For example,
Jones NY may use a dozen of these contractors to make Jones products,
but it is Jones NY that sells to retailers. Some examples in
California wuold be St. John's Knits, Catalina, Quicksilver etc. There
must be a thousand, big and small, in LA.

I have access to the companies in the apparel industry in the Los
Angeles area, and can definitely provide all the the information you
requested.  However, I cannot easily maneuver around branded and
non-branded criteria, which sounds like it wouldn't satisfy your
request.

If you were need information more in the format which I can provide
it, let me know.  I can also provide industry information, if this
were to interest you.

Meanwhile, the comment by Taxmama includes a directory that sounds
promising, and is less expensive than what you are willing to pay for
the question.

Aside from the companies in L.A., it will give you all 
the offices, showrooms, etc. of all the major garment
manufacturers.
