Well that was interesting!  It would seem Bausch and Lomb is getting
out of the sunglasses business, preferring optics such as binoculars
instead. Ray-Ban (Bausch and Lomb) is the most readily available, but
the discontinued "I's" brand by Bausch and Lomb is the "best buy" as
far as price goes.

Hi I just recently had a BIG problem with Luxottica, the new owners of
the Ray-Ban trade mark. I've worn Bans for 30+ years and their service
WAS second to none.
 Bausch & Lombe have got out of the cosmetic eyewear business and sold
the name to the above shower. Their service is dire, their employees
disinterested,
a very much take it or leave it attitude.
 I wear prescription sunglasses now and have gone over to Zeiss!!
