this is a two part question so please answer both of them!!!

the range of my wireless router is not sufficient and i want to expand
the range of the network. i noticed that i am able to add more
wireless access points but how would i set them up.

the next one is that i have two wirless router but only one can act as
a vpn server, but i want to keep the non-vpn as it is with the cable
modem hooked up to the wlan port. i guess what i am arriving at is how
do i setup a wireless router with vpn support on top of the existing
wireless router on the cable modem?

Hi space_cowboy-ga!

I just want to make sure I understand your setup. You currently have
2 wireless routers (ie: both have access point AND routing
functionality, not just access point ONLY). Also what brand/model of
wireless products are you using?

For your second questions, you want a setup that works like this:
Cable modem <-> existing wireless router (no vpn) <-> new wireless
router (vpn)

<-> denotes the physical connection

As far as I know, this setup will not work unless you don't mind not
being able to share files and data between clients on the first
wireless router with clients on the second (internet will still work
though *I think*).

If I'm misinterpreting what you've wrote, please let me know.

Regards,
mrbuzz-ga
