Hello Jonjon43, In English, Asesora de la Alcaldesa means Mayors Assistant. Given that both words are in their feminine form, the Mayor and the assistant are both women. I have been living in Chile for over 25 years and I confirmed the above with a Chilean local as well. I hope you find this helpful. Best Regards, Bobbie7-ga |

The word "asesora" has a double meaning in Chilean spanish. It may mean an "aide" or "assistant" (probably this is the case), but it is also means "maid". |
