Being a computer marketing professional, I keep these firms bookmarked
in my browser.  Several of the firms are more "client-oriented,"
trying to provide prospective from the standpoint of the user, as
opposed to the supplier.  The ranking here is arbitrary but represents
a personal assessment of the breadth and depth of coverage, with the
more complete services at the top.

You'll note that many are in the Northeastern U.S.:

research by Vertical, Country, and/or Region.  But instead, you simply
provided companies that perform SW Market Research.

I do this for a living: computer market research.  Dataquest, the
subsidiary of Gartner Group, provides a nearly identical profile to
IDC services.

The other services provide coverage by regions and major countries for
a significant range of applications.

Rating is poor.  The results only answer who has IT market
research....
I was hoping to have an answer to my question.  I want to know what
the companies provide software market research by Vertical, Country,
Region....not who has any software market research.
