Your best bet at this point would be a Researcher who lives in the
Chicago or Washington DC areas, who could physically go to Northern
Trust's office or to the SEC's office. I am not near those places
geographically, so I am not in a position to obtain any further
information.

You might try contacting the SEC's Office of Filings and Information
Services to obtain paper copies of the page listing Officers and
Directors from Northern Trust's 10-k (Annual Report) filings for the
years 1970 through 1973.

EDGAR online database of corporate filings (which, unfortunately, only
goes back to 1994). Additions to this list would have to come from
hardcopy annual reports in the SEC’s archives or the Northern Trust
Archives, or by having the information subpoenaed by an attorney
