I have a question regarding search engine promotion services such as
Microsoft bCentral's Submit-It! and myriad other pay per month- or
year- services, such as http://www.wpromote.com which comes up top
when you search "site promotion service".
I currently use some cost-per-click (CPC) services, such as Google
AdWords, to advertise my site.
One of my sites is generating decent traffic this way, but has fairly
poor search engine listings. Microsoft's Submit It!
(http://www.submit-it.com/) says that for an annual fee of just $49
(what I might pay for 10 days of Google Adwords for a single site)
they will get me listed ("guaranteed") on top search engines &
directories.
Does anyone have any experience with them (which actually looks like
the cheapest so far) or can you find any reviews of the service?
The submit it site is so vague--- can you find any more information on
this guarantee, and more importantly how long they say placement will
take (they say 48hrs for MSN, but what about others?) and typically if
I can expect 1-10, or what.
To conclude--- $49 seems not bad at all for a year of good placement
in 20 major search engines. Please share thoughts and advice.
