Hello yourgo-ga The history you are refering to is probably the cache history which stores webpages and images. If you go to: Tools>Internet Options>Content>AutoComplete.. The AutoComplete Settings window will be launched. Here you will find the section 'Use AutoComplete for" Here you can enable and disable auto complete for: 1. Web address 2. Forms 3. User names and passwords on forms If you do not want the previous URL or web addresses to show up as you type your URL in the browser address bar, you simply uncheck "Web address" and OK it. Now you will find Explorer no longer auto completes with previously visited sites. If you uncheck the "Forms" it will stop auto complete when you type in a keywords into a search engine or other forms too. So previously searched keywords do not appear either. (if you have that activated). I trust that solves your problem, if not, please ask for clarification. Search Strategy: personal knowledge Kind regards lot-ga |
