Hi flo1961-ga!

Although there is no guaranteed way to know exactly how many pages on
your website is cached, there is a few ways that will get you most if
not all the pages on your website cached by Google.

If you own your own domain, the best way is if you know there is at
least one word that appears on every page of your website. For
example, if you know the word Copyright appears at the bottom of each
of your webpages, you can search Google like this:

site:www.yourwebsite.com Copyright

If you don't have "Copyright", you can use words that appears in
navigation, such as "Home" or "Contact Us" or for example, if you're
site is about movies and you know the word "movie" appears on every
page, then you can use that.

If you don't own your own domain or if your website is under a
directory like www.geocities.com/yourname, then you can search Google
like this:

This should produce a similar list, although it may also show pages
from other websites linking to yours.

In both cases, be sure to click on the link at the bottom of the
search results page titled "repeat the search with the omitted results
included". This will reveal all pages that are cached. Also remember
that Google doesn't cache pages over 100kb in size.

Hope this helps,
mrbuzz-ga

Hey mrbuzz

Tried your suggestion. Got thousands of affiliate pages in addition
to my web pages. I thought that there was one search command that
would show just your sites cached pages. Something like
allin:yourwebsite....

There is no link at the bottom of the page "repeat the search with the
omitted results included".

Have a meeting this afternoon and desperate to find out how many pages
my web site www.collectiblestoday.com has been cached at google.

Hi flo1961-ga,

Since you needed your data quite urgently, I've done a quick search on
your website. From the following queries on Google, it appears that
you have about 1000 pages cached at Google. Now, I didn't go through
each of the 1000 to make sure every page had a "cached" link since
Google won't cache large pages but it's safe to say it has
approximately 1000 pages at collectiblestoday.com in cache. I used
the following queries to determine how many cached pages:

://www.google.com/search?q=site:www.collectiblestoday.com+home&num=100&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&start=900&sa=N&filter=0

Also a note on that "repeat the search with the omitted results
included" link, it only appears on the last page of the search. For
both the searches above, I've already clicked on that link so it
revealed all of the pages in Google's cache.

I hope this helps you in your meeting today. Let me know if I can be
of any other assistance.

Regards,
mrbuzz-ga
