I've got a small LAN with my two XP Home systems connected and I'm
trying to share My Documents via the Briefcase. I have gone into safe
mode and set file permissions to be Everyone/Full Control. I have set
file security on the C:\My Documents folder (which I'm using instead
of Documents and Settings....etc) to be Everyone/Full Control. Now I
have no trouble accessing the folder and files across the network but
as soon as I create a Briefcase and copy the files into it there's an
error sometime during the file transfer. It comes up with

"The files cannot be added to the Briefcase because it is a read-only
disk or share"

First of all. Is it referring to the files I'm copying or the
Briefcase they're going into?

Second, what's the solution?
