shamrock777,
Dynu Systems' [a Domain Name Service provider] website is at
http://www.dynu.com .
Their website states: "Dynu Basic Dynamic DNS Service lets you have
your own permanent domain name mapped to your dynamic IP address. Run
ftp, web, email services and more on Cable, xDSL and dialup
connections even with a dynamic IP address. Get more from (sic) you
internet access."
However, their website is curiously devoid of any actual contact
information, or any other information about the company. For all we
can tell, this company may consist of one person.
A search of the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) EDGAR
database ( http://www.sec.gov/edgar/searchedgar/companysearch.html )
does not show any companies by that name. That means it is not a
publicly-traded company.
Don't let the current date in the lower right-hand corner of the
screen fool you into thinking this site is current; the date is
produced through Javascript. According to the Internet Archive Wayback
Machine ( http://web.archive.org/collections/web.html ), this site was
last updated on January 27, 2002, when it went from 9 archived pages
to one. The last update before that was on September 4, 2002.
On Better WhoIs (domain name registration information site at
http://www.betterwhois.com ), both the Administrative and Technical
Contacts are listed as:
Sharma, Sunderram sunderram@dynu.com
2897 Meadowbrook Dr.
Woodbury, MN 55125 US
651-501-0055
Fax: 651-501-0044
Registrar of Record: TUCOWS, INC.
Record last updated on 23-Aug-2002. <-- some recent activity in the
registration information; perhaps a change in ownership, or a
re-vamping of the company?
Record expires on 09-Aug-2007. <-- web address is still valid
Record Created on 09-Aug-1999.
I would be extremely wary of purchasing any kind of service from this
site, at least not without doing some extensive research on the
company first.

how can an incoporated business remain so elusive? I already had the
information, you gave me (except for the betterwhois, thanks i will
use that), however, i was hoping that there would be some concrete
answers.
Is there a phone number to contact?
Is there a person responsible in a Managing, President, CEO capacity,
etc? where are they located? - looks like minnesota.
who is hosing them?- they host themselves apparently.
range:198.144.7.112 - 198.144.7.127 how did they get their own
netblock in Arin, if it is just an individual? maybe they were dished
ip's from a parent company, and if so who is that company?
anyways thanks, If there is any clarifications to the above answers i
would appreciate it.
