Googel,
I'd be glad to take part in your survey. The floss tensioner looks fun
:)
1. Is it clear from this web-page how to use this product, and how
many minutes have you (the researcher) spent on it?
Yes, about 5 minutes.
Comments: Though it is easy enough to understand, I think a Flash or
Quicktime movie file of a demonstration would help a little,
especially for the "winding" and "slippery floss" pictures. Also, I
like the "credit card hides the floss tensioner" description, but it
would be nice if there was a picture of the tensioner next to a credit
card (or a quarter, or another small item, for size comparison). The
image of the tensioner in someone's hand doesn't give the best
possible idea of its size.
2. Floss tensioners (with no floss) could be delivered by USPS in a
$0.40 non-certified mail .
21.If a small US company would take the orders and promise the
delivery, then would you place your first order online in the amount
of $3.33 for a six-pack?
Yes.
Comments: I would suggest that you include a small sample of floss
with the tensioner. It wouldn't cost much more to ship, and I think it
would go well with the product.
23.Would you place your order as soon as you were offered the product
online?
Yes.
31. If a big US company would take the orders and promise the
delivery, but the product would belong to and come from a small US
company then would you place your first order online in the amount
of $3.45 for a six-pack?
Yes.
Same comment as above - it would be best if it came with some floss.
33. Would you place your order as soon as you were offered the product
online?
Yes.
4. Would you like to buy, and what is the highest price you would pay
for a sixpack in a grocery store (not online) ?
I would like to buy it. I would expect to pay no more than $5.
Comments: $5 is the upper amount I would expect to pay - $3.50 is
probably the ideal price for me.
5. If a big US company would take the orders and promise the
delivery, but the product would belong to and come from a not
American company --outside the US-- in certified mail then would you
place your first order online in the amount of $3.45 for a six-pack?
What is the longest delivery time you would accept?
Yes. I would accept a month's delivery time at the very most.
Comments: This is by far the least attractive option. I order a lot of
items from overseas, but most Americans do not, and a lot of people
don't have confidence about doing so. Also, shipping from overseas is
more expensive, and it takes a lot longer. Still, if shipping were
affordable (included in the cost above, or less than two additional
dollars) I would be willing to buy it.
53. Would you place your order as soon as you were offered the product
online?
Yes.
Thanks for posting the survey - I wish you luck with your enterprise!

Tripod vs. geocities.
I cannot use anymore my Geocities site at Yahoo for all my needs,
therefore i have set up another site at Tripod at the advice of one of
the researchers who was complaining about the sluggishness of Geo and
prefering Tripod.
How can one, if it's possible at all, change the username and name of
a site at tripod if so wanted?

Hi there,
Tripod say it isn't possible:
Q. Can my member name be changed?
A. Technically, no. Your member name, once it's chosen, is stored in
several places on our servers. That makes changing the name pretty
much impossible. If you really want a new member name, you'll need to
delete your current member name and sign up with Tripod again. It's
just one more reason to choose your member name with care!

Of course you can signup using a new name, and then upload your site
to the new account.
