When you say "shareholder list," do you mean a list of the company's
largest shareholders (e.g., those owning 5% or more of the company)?
Or do you mean a list of ALL shareholders?

I mean all shareholders, or if not all shareholders, then all
registered shareholders (ie. people who don't just hold the stock in
street name).

5% shareholders and insiders are available through SEC filings, and
I'm looking for a much broader list.

I just raised the price for this question, and I'm making the question
more specific:

Where can I get a list of the shareholders of AT&T, Lucent
Technologies, NCR, BellSouth, SBC Communications, Qwest
Communications, or Agere. Any of those companies will do. I don't want
just the 5% owners or insiders, but a much broader list.

Vercingatorix --

If available, the shareholder list will be available through the
secretary of the corporation.

You may find this FAQ from the Securities and Exchange Commission,
"Shareholder's Lists, When You Can Get Them," (February, 2001) helpful
in indicating WHEN you can get them:
