I am looking for pro-video camera market data for the US and World,
including unit sales and a general overview of the market's
segmentation.

I am defining 'Pro-Video' as sales of high end cameras for feature
film, independent film, corporate video, freelance video, Electronic
News Gathering. At the low end of this market would be cameras such as
the Canon XL-1s or Sony VX-1000 (which are 'prosumor' MiniDV cameras).
At the high end would be the Sony HDW-7XX series and HDW-F900 High
Definition cameras.

Market data we need is mostly unit sales (we are especially interested
in total unit sales of the XL-1 and HDW-F900 cameras).

reports that may contain some of the information you are seeking.  For

But, since I am not a PMA member, I can go only as far as a high level
table of contents for each report.  Do you think I am on the right
track?  If so, and if you are interested, I would try to find out the

follow up with? Neither offers any of the information I am looking for
(unit sales).

going to be hard to dig up...
