Thanks for the search, Journalist. Before we can provide a
satisfactory rating on this question, we do need a price on popsicle
sticks and paddle sticks (for premium ice cream bars) from a European
supplier and an Asian supplier. Otherwise, it's not really
representative of what's out there. If it can't be done, it can't be
done, and we will need to find another way.

I have contacted by email the companies Ashwood Timber & Plastics Ltd
in the UK and Hsin Mawh Enterprise Co., Ltd in Taiwan and asked for
their prices (they are not shown via Internet).
While I wait for that information, I will continue to look for

because the information was incomplete so I appreciate your continued
patience.

I have replied to that email with the link to this question so that
they may view your query to ascertain its contents. I also asked

Dear Journalist:
Thank you very much for pursuing the answer. I have located two other
European companies for you to try, if you get no response from
Ashwood: Norwood (they apparently have a large chunk of the world
market) at www.norwood.dk, and Allied Trade SA, www.alliedtrade.ch.
Really appreciate your help with this! The type of wood in the product
they quote would be useful to have (birch, beech, etc)if possible.

Weekend Update: I am still waiting on the second responses from the
two companies I initially contacted as well as first responses from
the two companies you provided. Do you have a deadline on receiving
this information? I want to make sure you receive it in a timely
manner but we are at the mercy of the companies. I'm also continuing
research for more options.

Well, it has been well over a week and still no replies from my emails
to the companies. :( I am also dismayed that no other pricing info
can be located online - it seems ice cream woods pricing is a
heavily-guarded industry secret! lol
