I want to know the artist and the name of the song. This must be
british and from the early 80's. It has a female voice similar to Lora
Logic or Linder Sterling from Ludus (I always thought this was a song
by Ludus but now I have their complete discography and it isn't
there). A sax figures prominently and the music has a cabaret rhythm.

Do you have access to a recorded version of this song?  How are you
able to recall the lyrics so specifically?

It was taped from the radio in the mid 80's. I since lost the tape.

Yes. A female voice with a cockney accent on the spoken part.
