OpenOffice (http://www.openoffice.org) is a freely available office suite. It includes a spreadsheet program. |

What it's worth will depend on the functions for which you will use it. If you just need very basic spreadsheet/database functionality, a freeware or shareware program might do nicely. If you are going to have to do some serious crunching, analysis, report formatting, etc., you might be better off with a reasonably-priced package designed with the required functionality designed. If you can post a Clarification on how you will be using such a package, Researchers will be better able to meet your needs. |
