Hi again,

1. Do you find the directions clear, and how many minutes have you
spent on them?

The phrase "In 15-50 seconds or 10-25 seconds device can be ready",
and the pictures showing 5 or 7 steps, give me the impression that it
is far more complicated than it really is. Unless it is a product to
be cooked, why mention the time it takes? In the first picture, you
only need to show steps 3-5, and in the second picture, you could just
show steps 4-7.

Rather than describing the two techniques by the length of floss, you
could just label them "With a Knot" and "Without a Knot".

The middle picture with the purple floss confuses me - it looks like a
giant tooth next to the device, but I am unsure. And the middle left
picture seems superfluous.

The written instructions would work better if they matched the
numbered illustrations, ie:

1. Wrap the floss around tensioner arm A
2. Loop the floss around tensioner arm B
3. Pull arm A away from arm B to tighten the floss

I spent about 2 minutes looking at the page before I fully understood
the instructions.

2. Can you think of someone you know and could be interested to pay
$3.33 for a 6-pack coming with free shipping.....

I have yet to meet anyone who would make such a minor purchase online.
I asked my housemates, and none would buy it online, although each
would consider buying it if they saw it in a store. The best way to
market it would be as a freebie with a box of floss.

I am also concerned about why it would be sold as a 6-pack. It implies
that they break easily.

Best wishes,
robertskelton-ga

Hi robertskelton,

I was told that if i don't ask a question in a Req. for clarification
the researcher doesn't have to respond.
I am asking no question here and you need not to respond.
This is only to inform you about my new posted question:

Hello researcher robertskelton, again,

I was told that if i don't ask a question in a Req. for clarification
the researcher doesn't have to respond.
I am asking no question here and you need not to respond.

However you have the option to clarify for me the following question:

How many people you know have indicated to you that they would
consider this product in a drugstore amd how many of them would like
to get a free sample?
All my messages to you will go through GA from now on.

Thank you

I have 3 housemates who each indicated they would consider buying it
from a store - and each said they would try it if given a free sample.

While it may be true that we are not compelled to reply to
clarifications like yours, most of us prefer to keep our answers
"tidy". If we don't clarify, the question has NEEDS CLARIFICATION
alongside it (it's only the researcher that sees it). So we prefer it
when customers follow the normal flow of communication:

Question is asked
Question is answered
Clarifications are made
Rating and comments given
The end.

The appropriate place to thank the researcher, and end the dialog, is
when rating the question. The rating should be the last thing that
occurs.

If you wish to communicate after rating the question - simply leave a
comment. Although we are not automatically notified of any comments,
we are highly likely to see them anyway.

Hello robertskelton-ga,
Thank you very much for your suggestions , and i will think about how
to implement them.
Let me add here that:
Each one of these floss holders is
good for about 250 all-teeth flossing --250 days if one
full-mouth flossing/day.
I would like to mention that in the USA it cannot be marketed without
my permission, and on the other hand that the reason for no
grocery-store or drug-store offer is that i could find no supplier
interested in it. One of the reasons for this could have been that
before these pictures the directions had been mainly verbal and people
got turned off by them.

I saw your site on a previous post... my mum has been buying
disposable flossers for years; but I couldn't find an illustration of
it at the time...

I have to say I don't see your product as a runner, because it looks
flimsy and complicated compared to the simpler moulded plastic version
already on sale...

I also found http://www.enexus.com/dentalmart/catalog22.html

I believe you may have found competitor market research useful.

Hi sam78-ga ,

Thank you for caring updating me with the competition, however i knew
all this stuff before my "investment" in GA.
I think that if all those sites you mentioned can get room here then i
could advise you that you can get more clarifications through

Hi again,
This is an update.
At your suggestion i added 'Without a Knot' and 'hand' to the
pictures.
The product is good for about 250 use (days) unless tortured
frequently.
No floss manufacturer has been ready to take the product up till now.
6-pack, because it appears to me --through GA-- that people could like
it first of all because of the 'almost anywhere, anytime', and this
way i could get a chance to put it in the market even alone.
Thank you,
g
