Hi All,

I have a standard-type Dell laptop that I purchased in here in the
States. I am moving to Europe and would like to be able view/read
European DVDs on it there as well. Are there any software cracks I
can download or get perhaps from Dell?

Thanks,

vlad

You should look into DVD Genie:
http://www.inmatrix.com/files/dvdgenie_download.shtml

If that doesn't work or the program isn't applicable, could you please
provide the following information?
-- Operating system
-- The type of DVD hardware
-- The Dell model of computer
-- The software you use to play DVDs

Also, if need be are you willing to open up your computer to change a
hardware setting?

Thanks, and best wishes.

I'm not putting this as an answer because it just adds onto a previus
comment by someone else. I currently use win 2k, on a similar Dell
laptop (different make DVD drive), but i still us Win DVD. Using
V4.05 of DVD genie I have been able to play various DVD from all over
the world (not just from europe and america). The settings alow you
to change the region with a single click, it also has various other
features that you might find useful. Hope this furthers your search
for success.
