This is a two part question: First I would like to know what dosing
schedule Doctors use in an in-patient detoxification center for the
purpose of bringing someone off of alcohol without the bad side
effects such as seizures, etc. THE ONLY MEDICATION I AM INTERESTED IN
IS THE USE OF ATIVAN (LORAZEPAM) OR VALIUM (DIAZEPAM). I am not
seeking medical advice, just the facts. I also want to know the
current laws regarding ordering medications online such as Propecia
and Librium. If the order is for a small amount and if the patient
has been prescribed these medications previously by a family doctor

loopyone,

It is not likely you will be able to find an alcohol detoxification
dosing schedule for lorazepam or diazepam, as these medications are
not used for alcohol detoxification.

Several of the reputable online drugstores fill prescriptions. They
have a method of getting the prescription from your regular doctor, I
think. You might want to check www.walgreens.com and
www.drugstore.com.

Hi Loopyone,

Check out these sites.

Online pharmacies fill prescriptions as long as you have a
prescription for your medication.

Is this what you are looking for?

Thanks

Actually I was referring to importing medication from overseas. I
have no health insurance and I can get propecia for example at 1/3 of
the cost by ordering it from an overseas pharmacy. I was looking for
the laws concerning that type of online ordering. I do appreciate you
taking the time to leave a comment though!

The two sedatives you've mentioned are not used DURING the detox step.
If used, they would be administered, AFTER the detox procedure.

If you are a US citizen and you are ordering drugs from outside the
country, you should be aware, that you still must obey the pharmacy
laws of the US State in which you reside.

If you have no insurance, you will still need a legit Rx from an MD.
The usual , legal method is for your MD to place the order for you
online. Ask the MD to do this for you. Remember, all Rxs place online
(computer/phone) MUST be followed up with a HARDCOPY.
