The only information I could find on a drummer named Eugene Williams
is for a gospel group called the New Goldenaires:

"New Goldenaires"

Is this the Eugene Williams you are looking for? If so, I could post
an answer with respect to the New Goldenaires.

Hello cat9,
It appears that information on the drummer you mentioned could not be
found online, since much time has passed. In that time, I'm sure
researchers have taken a look at this and assessed its answerability,
which would be very slim in my view. A probable alternative would be
to look up a knowledgeable pop music historian. Certainly, whoever
would come up with the right answer would have gotten it from sources
not on the Internet.
