alohagal,

How lengthy or in-depth does this summary need to be?

Hola,

One of the customer reviews of the book at Amazon.com has a nice
summary:

El Camino (Coleccion Destinolibro)
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/detail/-/books/8423310353/customer-reviews/

That review is the only English-language summary I was able to find.
However, I also found three summaries in Spanish and have provided
links below to their translations. (Unfortunately, computer
translation isn't very good. However, with these translations you
should be able to get the basics of the story.)

mvguy,
I never got a chance to clarify my question to aceresearcher. I wish
you would have waited. I was looking for a more lenghthy/in depth
summary. You only found me pages that I found myself and were of very
little use to me. If you can find me something better, that will be
great, otherwise I will have to give you a very poor rating.

I am sorry, but I am unable to find anything more extensive. I do not
believe there are any other significant English-language descriptions
of the novel indexed in the major search engines.

Best wishes in your pursuit,

mvguy

mvguy,
This is a classic novel in Spanish. It is required reading in
Spanish-speaking countries and in American Spanish Literature courses.
I can't imagine that there isn't anything else out there about it.
I'd be happy for something in Spanish if there's nothing in English.
Google Answers is advertized as for those fed up or frustrated with
searching. You are supposed to be able to find things I couldn't in
my short search, that's why I'm paying, right.

What's often surprising is how much information _can't_ be found on
the Internet (or the World Wide Web, to be precise). The fact of the
matter is that nothing can be found unless someone posts it to be read
by others. I realize that this novel is studied in many classes, and
I too must confess that I'm surprised that more can't be found. But
it is also the case that this novel isn't available in an English
translation, so there hasn't been that much written about it in
English.

If you're looking for an extensive summary written in Spanish, I'd be
happy to look for one if you ask for it in another question.
Meanwhile, if you're unsatisfied with the answer to this question, you
are entitled to ask for a refund and/or see if another researcher can
find something I couldn't.

Tenga buen día,

mvguy
Reason this answer was rejected by alohagal-ga:
I requested a summary of a novel that I couldn't find in my google
search. I forgot to ask for an extensive or detailed summary, but
understood that I could ask for more information after it had been
answered and seemed to be unable to edit it. One researcher was smart
enough to ask if I wanted a long summary but before I could reply,
another researcher answered the question with answers I'd already
found in a google quicksearch and most all of it was in Spanish. This
information was unhelpful. I told him that I would take an extensive
Spanish answer if a good English one was not available but he told me
I would have to pay for a second question even though he/she'd already
answered in Spanish the first time when I had requested an English
answer. So I guess I was too picky in asking for an English answer
and not picky enough by not asking for a detailed summary instead of a
one-paragrapher. Nonetheless I was very dissatisfied with my answer.
If the researchers had nothing to post besides what I can find in less
than one second in my own google search, than why am I paying!

Didn't find anything I didn't find myself in a 1 second search on google.
