Hello Caralou,

I have the percentage of households that make $75,000 to $99,999 a
year and also the percentage that makes $100,000 and over. These are
official numbers not just ballpark figures.

Would this suffice as answer to your question? You may tell me where
it says Clarification of Question.

Thank you

Hello Caralou,

13.6% of American families have earnings of $97,500 to $99,999 a year.

This would be the closest we can get to an exact percentage of
American families with an income of $100,000 a year as the U.S. Census
Bureau gathers their statistics for the range of $97,500 to $99,999,
and then from $100,000 to $149,999.

Source of above information:

According to the Income Distribution Table - 2001 by the U.S. Census
Bureau

Households earning from $97,500 to $99,999 a year: 802,000
Total U.S. households:
 109,297,000

That would give us a 13.6% of American families with earnings of
$97,500 to $99,999 a year.
