My favourite is the Great Southern Hotel in Killarney. Its a beautiful
old hotel in a park like setting and is also of great historical
significance. The rooms are old fashioned elegance and afternoon tea
with fresh scones, whipped cream etc. is served in the lounge every
day. There is also a great bar and restaurant and its only a short
walk to the city centre and the train station.
